According to the Constitution of this Kingdom, the Convention if agreed upon at Washington, must be ratified by the King, & approved by the Legislative assembly.
As GE M. Cook, the U. S. Minister Resident, is hourly expected from Washington, he will possibly bring some information as to the possibility of such a Treaty being negotiated.
